I looked at Samsung and Sony LCD's, but decided to go with the Sony Z series b/c of the deal I got at Bestbuy. For $100 more, I got the 52" Sony 240hz over a 52" Samsung 120hz. I'm glad I did...man, got it home and hooked it and without changing any settings, the picture looked great. Now after a week, I'm still amazed at the picture quality and sharpness. Internet feature is nice too. Sound is very good. This is my 3rd Sony TV that I have owned and they do make great quality TV's. This TV replaces my 2001 Sony 36" Wega, which was still working great but just took too much floor space.
