This might be a great TV but I don't know as mine does not work. Shipped fast and the box looks fine. Plugged it in and hooked it up . . . basically, I get a very brief flash of a picture, long enough to see something there, such as the menu or source, but not long enough to read anything. I get three to five of these flashes then the unit powers itself off. Very frustrating. Also, though one can buy a TV and have it shipped and delivered in a few days it takes two weeks to have LG send somebody to come look at it. Depending on the outcome of the service visit I'll either update my review or send it back and buy something else.Get more detail about LG 42LH55 42-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV, Gloss Black.
