Ive had this tv for a couple of months now and have not had a single problem. The picture quality is decent for the price and i just have it hooked up to regular cable tv (not hd).I was upgrading from an old Sony 27" tube style tv and i am glad i went with a larger 37".The audio quality is fair also. There are a lot of settings on this tv.Some settings ive never even heard of.I spent around 20 minutes getting the picture adjusted just right. You will find this tv to have a pretty low price tag for a 37" lcd tv.Lower than other brands 32" and 37" tvs.Dont let the price fool you. This is a good quality tv.I also use it as a monitor for my pc as well.It has a pretty decent picture when using it as a pc monitor but i wouldnt go any bigger than a 37" in the size of tv without upgrading to 1080p if using it for a pc.The only big disappointment from this tv is the lack of component jacks. There is no S-video.
Conclusion--If your upgrading from a 27" tv,definitely go with the 37" or larger. The lg 37" 720p tv is a decent upgrade for a lower price tag even if you dont have hdtv.I dont believe a person really needs a 1080p tv in a 37" unless you are going to be using it as a computer monitor but the 720p is still decent. This tv doesnt have a lot of component hook ups on it so check it first to make sure it has what hook ups youll be needing.Decent picture, audio quality is fair, and the price tag is good.I only give 4 stars for a lack of an s-video and extra component jacks.Get more detail about LG 37LH20 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Gloss Black.
